The team of clinical psychologists is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in Schema Therapy, as well as in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

CBT is a psychotherapy method that generally aims to improve mental health and focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs and attitudes) and behaviors, improving emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

Schema Therapy is designed to help patients to break tenacious, unhelpful and recurring patterns and schemas of thinking, feeling and behaving, and to develop healthier alternatives to replace them.

After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, difficult memories are reprocessed so that emotional and physiological distress due to one or more traumatic experiences is relieved.
