The team of clinical psychologists is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

CBT is a psychotherapy method that generally aims to improve mental health and focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs and attitudes) and behaviors, improving emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems such as:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder)

  • Stress

  • Burnout

  • Self-esteem issues and lack of self-confidence

  • Management of difficult emotions

  • Bullying and harassment

  • Relational and communication problems

  • Eating disorders and disorderd relationship with food

  • Issues related to weight

  • Sleep disorders

  • Psychosomatic issues

  • Life changing events (e.g. retirement, separation, loss of employment)

  • Trauma

​After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, difficult memories are reprocessed so that emotional and physiological distress due to one or more traumatic experiences is relieved.
